Poker news weblog; Can I run Google's AdSense?

I recently started a Blogger site on which I'm basically just planning on posting links to poker news stories. I guess I'll have a few cheezy affiliate links, but I doubt anyone will sign up or anything. I'm pretty much just doing it because I think it will be fun.

Anyway, does anyone know if Google will allow me to run their AdSense CPC text ads on my site? Their AdSense Policies page states:

"Site may not include...Gambling or casino-related content"

However, I've seen the AdSense ads on poker-specific websites.

I've applied to Google to run AdSense, and also e-mailed them, but they have yet to get back to me. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Google rejected my site for gambling content. Does anyone know any reputable gamblng CPCs I could run on my site?

I don't but I haven't looked too much. It's weird because I got denied too, but I know of other poker blogs that have them. All the ones on blogger.com have them and they're owned by Google. It's seems pretty hypocritical if you ask me.

Sorry to bump this--does anyone know of any CPC/PPC ad networks that allow gambling sites to publish their listings? Google's AdSense would be perfect, of course, but they don't allow gambling sites, nor does Overture.

Google rejected my site for gambling content.

I find this amazing: They reject gambling content but let through (even though the terms don't allow it) sites selling drugs ("Prozac shipped worldwide...", etc).
