Bellagio 5-Diamond Help

I might be in LV around the time at the 5 Diamond Classic and I had a few questions about the tournament and LV in general:

1) Where should I go to check out the tournament action? The poker room or is there another tournament area I should go to?

2) Where's the best place to stay, "best" meaning the most reasonable yet convenient?

Tournament action in Vegas is at it's peak. At least since I've been here. If you want a reasonable hotel that has great rooms stay at the O'rleans. They have daily tournaments (small buy-ins) and the poker rate for the rooms make them the best deal in town. They are off the strip but have a shuttle that goes back and fourth to the strip every 20 minutes. It stops right accross the steet from Bellagio so it will be convenient for the 5 Diamonds.

For other tournament action pick up a copy of Card Player or go to their web site. It lists almost all tournays in town.

Thanks for your help, Vince. I appreciate it. I'm not all that familiar inside the Belaggio, only been there once. When I go to sign up for a tournament, do I go to the poker room or someplace else? Thanks.

Go to the Poker Room. They run their tournaments right outside the room.
