Default PARTY DATA MINING ?

I have seen multiple posts where people talk about data mining with Poker Tracker. I am assuming this means you open up the table and let Poker Tracker grab the hand histories?

For some reason it is not generating hand histories for me when I am just viewing the table, is there a trick to data mining I am missing here?

You need to have played a real money hand at the site for hands to be stored locally on your computer... is this the problem?

Never mind, I guess it is downloading hand histories. The weird thing is for some reason they aren't visible when I am browsing my hard drive with explorer but they are being imported by Poker Tracker?

Anyone want to explain that one to me

They are text files in the main directory of the site with extension .hhf.

Weird, that must be a hidden extension in explorer... Thanks!

If I understand it correctly, hands from "observed" tables are deleted from your hard drive as soon as you close your client. So don't disconnect from the site until you are finished with the entire proccess. You can't come back later to look for the HHs.

Data Mining sounds good and all but I'm on pace to play 30K hands this month. Why mine?

Slavic you could double that number easily, it could be collecting hand histories WHILE you are sleeping bud

Datamining worked well for me, I know one day in have 670 players in my database.. I know it's a very small sample but keep in mind I just stared using this myself yesterday and only for 4 hours of personal play or so, maybe 600 hands or so.
