Hey Dali,
LMAO, nice mistake there, you should have known that 2-4 is a monster.
I have been watching your tables for a few weeks. Thank you for providing hand histories on MJ's site.
You had a real bad streak for awhile. I was wondering if you were a fish or not.(I am kidding ) My October was just as bad. A-A I would lose to an 9-6 off or something idiotic. Glad you turned it around.

BTW watching you play has definitely helped my game some. It also re-inforced many of the principles I had been using.......................... Anyway thanks.

Not that you can tell from my stupitity in posting this hand, but the SB here had only 290 total chips, 200 of which were in the blind, so i was limping to help. He folded, then i was screwed when the BB pushed. I had to call the raise since i was going to be paying a 400 BB before the smaller stack would be posting, so I was going to have to win a hand somehwere to avoid going ou t4th.

Just some context.

I assume you think your mistake was calling all-in with AK or was it not pushing first? What if he had shown you his cards before you called, would you still feel this was a mistake? I don't see it as being a mistake, people push a lot of crap on the bubble. More often than not your AK is going to be good. I would make that call everyday and not regret it at all. Of course I still have a lot to learn, perhaps you could enlighten me on why this was such a bad play? Obviously pushing is better but why is calling wrong?
