Default WSOP 2005

I one me a seat to wsop 2005 on a site that i choose not to name at this time. I just found out that I not only do not get expense money, but I also have to fly myself there. Is this the norm with winning seats? Anyone that has info please let me know. Thanks, UGA

If you are a half decent player - try and sell yourself to some backers. Maybe you can sell 20% of yourself. that should be $2,000 which should pay for your time in vegas, and your trip there.

I think most sites list what exactly you are getting when you sign up for the tournament, be it a seat, or a seat plus cash. It would go under buyer beware.

I would just be happy for winning the seat. You have plenty of time to save up the money to get out there. Just get on a travel site or ask airlines for specials take the red-eye flight and you will be suprised how cheap a package deal really is airfare / hotel. Start looking early because the sooner you book the flight and room the cheaper it will be.
Hope this helps.

Its not the norm. Last year all the packages were for 11K or 12K for the 10K event, the difference was to give you travelling and accomodation expenses, but each site can obviously set their own prizes. You should be able to stay dirt cheap, I know we did this year, but getting there will be your biggest expense.
