Default If you absolutely need to contact Dell support...

... contact them via email: US_CAG_Customer_Care@dell.com

i was able to get satisfactory results via email. the only bad thing is having to wait a few hours.

as you may already know, calling them is futile (at least the first 3 or 4 calls). oh yeah, and having to explain the situation over and over to them. also, the case # was useless most of the time since they didn't include all of the information from the previous call(s). or worse yet logging incorrect data!

hope this helps,
jc

UGhh, Dell's customer support is terrible for what it should be. They need to know sooo much info. and you have to repeat it over and over again after they switch you to so many "handlers" For the computer illiterate, buy Gateway and make smart friends.

If you get their top of the line Dimension desktop(the XPS I think it is?), you supposedly get some kind of upgraded customer service, but I don't know how good that is...and their top of the line model is pretty overpriced.

Nice find, player1. Getting help from those neerdowells is always an impressive feat.

They have the only customer support that could rival Party's.

Unless you're a corporate client, you're much better off spending your time staring at mistrpug's avatar. So hot.

^ That picture is actually the background on my work comp, but the one I use as my avatar also allows for a witty location comment, so I went with that one.
