A CD to the hard drive?

Drag and drop the files (one explorer window with the CD open, one with the HD window open).

The files will be read-only after you copy them.

Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the My Computer icon and selecting Explore, or you can do it the fancy way by hitting the Windows Key + E.

Navigate to your CD Drive on the directory tree on the left-hand side.

Select the files you want to copy on the right-hand side.

Drag the files over to the left-hand directory tree and drop them into the desired location on your hard drive.
