Default Are same IP addressses allowed in a private room?

Some friends and I who can't often get together to play were thinking about starting up a private table at, say, Party Poker, and just screwing around playing .50/1.00 or whatever. It's probably a stupid idea because of the rake, etc., but whatever. Ignore that for this thread.

Anyway, two sets of potential players live in the same domicile, with the same IP address. I know that online cardrooms supposedly have security measures that make it impossible for two people from the same IP address to play at the same table.

What I'm wondering is whether or not this applies to private tables, and if it does, if there's any way to get them to allow it to happen.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks in advance.

I would assume that the rule would apply in any room of any online site. At least I hope it does.
