Default A Hand I Forgot About : Mirage 20/40

This is my first hand of the day. Four of my nine opponents are people I played with the day before. I post in the CO and get dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. First two fold to a typical Vegas local who raises. All fold to me and I 3-bet. Late 20's aggressive but too loose BB calls, local calls.

Flop comes: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to me and I bet. BB raises, local calls. I 3-bet, both call.

Turn comes: T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check, check, check.

River comes: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB checks, local checks, I bet. BB folds, local calls.

looks fine after the threebet preflop, but i'd be surprised if this hand this way is a long-term winner

this is a borderline best of elysium post, but someone should bump that thread and throw in the one where you were like, "Ok . . . .let me break this to you, you are a fish. . . . " from like a week ago.

Was the flop three-bet a free card attempt?

Is this level of aggression appropriate? I think it is not. But GOT is a pro I am not.

It's somewhat close between folding and reraising preflop, but I think 3-betting is the way to go.
