I think that someone mistakenly called Brunson "Dolly" instead of Doyle---and it stuck.

Whats so stupid about it? I realize where he got the nickname from. And I, like the original poster, also think its a terrible nickname. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you don't understand it.
