Big Pot Concept #1: This pot wouldn't be so big if you had folded preflop. -ActionBob |

Re: interesting hand.
Preflop: why are you capping? Your hand isn't that good.
flop: raising makes little sense as almost everyone has already called a bet. You'll only limit the field if UTG 3-bets, which won't be particularly good news for your KQ. Just call. turn: now we're talking. You can really make someone fold a hand that you want out, and since you're going to call 2 cold anyways, the extra bet is worth the investment. Hopefully CO has AJ and you make someone fold an overpair, winning with a river Q or K. Good tough 3-bet. I suspect others will disagree, but I like the play. river: Raise. CO just called the turn 3-bet, you probably have him beat. Good luck. Eric |

Re: interesting hand.
OMG!!!
Well I guess you played the river OK. Your 1st mistake was calling the 1st raise cold, then you did everything that you could to lose the most $. |

Re: interesting hand.

Re: interesting hand.
and just think, if it didn't go perfect, perfect you'd still be yelling at party poker for folding your hand preflop like you should have done.

Re: interesting hand.
Interestingly you managed to play every street wrong.
I would have folded preflop. Flop - I would have called. Turn - I would have called. River I would have raised. |

Re: interesting hand.
I actually think this is an ok spot to call a raise preflop. You have position and there are a bunch of limpers, so there is a bunch of dead-money and the cutoff could be trying to buy the button with a hand like JTs. The cap preflop is pointless and costly. Starting with the cap, the rest of the hand is terrible. Pushing backdoor draws on paired boards is not normally a good idea. You could be drawing dead on the flop, or easily reverse-dominated. The turn opens up new opportunities to be drawing dead, but you put in 3 bets.

Re: interesting hand.
If it was KQs rather than KQos, would his preflop limp re raise vs. a feild of 7 be good? Curious cause I often do that.
