Default 5/10 NL UB, QQ hand

I am interested in what you guys think about this hand I played today. I don't have the hand history, but I remember all the relevant info so here it is. Every street here could probably be debated. UTG+1 has been pretty liberal in his openraising standards lately.

5/10 NL on UB
10-handed.

Hero is in the SB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG folds, UTG+1 makes it $35. UTG+2 raises to $95. Folded to me in the SB, and I call. BB folds. UTG+1 calls.

Stack sizes before the flop:
UTG+1 (~$550)
UTG+2 (~$1000)
Hero (~$1500)

Flop: Pot ($295) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks. UTG+1 checks. UTG+2 checks.

Turn: Pot ($295) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks. UTG+1 bets $295. UTG+2 folds. Hero raises all-in. UTG+1 calls.

Results in white:

I think the fact that UTG+1 called into a 3way pot PF safely rules out KK or AA. When UTG+2 folds on the turn it is pretty clear you have the best hand.

Why the hell would you ever check this flop?

When the pot is large it is your responsiblity to do everything you can to take it down, especially with two diamonds on the flop and likely overcards that can beat you. You should've led for about 250.

Why didnt you bet the turn? Was it your plan to trap UTG+1 assuming the re-raiser had AK/AQ. I think here the re-raiser could have easily been trying to isolate UTG+1 (who is unthinkably terrible) so the call is fine if you guys have full stacks. Your play is fine, he's terrible, whatever. What were you planning to do if the re-raiser potted the flop and turn?

Basically, I was worried about the preflop reraiser. Which contradicts my preflop call, since I obviously dont have the odds just to play for a set. I was afraid that the reraiser would just call my flop bet and then I wouldnt know what to do.
