Default Pre Flop Final Table Question

Limit Hold 'em final table, four players left. I am the short stack with $17,000. Next stack is to my right with about $40,000. Two big stacks.

Blinds are $2-$4.000 I have A5s in the BB. UTG folds, button raises, SB three bets. SB is a loose passive player who tends to call raises, rather than reraise. Should I gamble here? Sorry if this is very basic but I haven't played a lot of tournaments.

Hey Hank,

I normally like to fold here, if I think one of my opponents could realistically go broke on this hand. Also, if SB is loose-passive, he's likely to have a hand which has you drawing extremely thin. If this weren't the case, I'd probably say screw it and go for it with only 4 Big Blinds in your stack, but this is a fold for me and move on to the next hand.

Cant see why u should cold call with that hand. Fold, and you will have a better shot next hand whatever u pick up. Hand strength is relative, and u probably stand a better chance with a random hand (aggresively played) next deal.

I think it is an easy fold. I would want to be the first in the pot unless I have a much stronger hand.
