How do you play KQ (suited or not)? I feel I misplay this hand so often that I just get pissed when I see it. Help!

I will post more hands later. Any advice is appreciated.

Good fold? It's early and I didn't want risk most of my stack in a situation where I felt I was a coin-flip at best.

Mis-played on every street? I had a real hard time w/ AQ in this tournament. I had it 4 or 5 times and raised with it every time and missed the flop completely every time.

The hand converter messed this hand up. I was on the BB and villain was the CO. The SB did not enter the hand.

I'm not sure how to play this. We're down to 31 or 30, and top 29 make the money, top 26 win a Super Weekday Satellite entry. I really wanted to get the entry and thought if I pushed the CO was sure to call. Is he pot-committed? So I called figuring to push if I caught a pair. I didn't and folded. This hand ended me and I got 28th place and a couple of bucks.

Default Re: Selected tournament hands from yesterday.

#1, fine. You made your play at the pot and checked it down when called. You lost a minimum of chips here.

#2, Fine, safe play. It's that or push.

#3, checking is good. A lot of people will put in a pot sized raise with all the dead money in the pot figuring no one is strong enough to call. You flop open ended with overcards. If there were only three players, I'd lead out everytime. But with 4 I'd probably be cautious too and see who else likes the flop. I may have called the flop bet to see what the turn brought.

Default Re: Selected tournament hands from yesterday. Part 2.

#1, I like the turn check, you want to keep this pot small. Ok, maybe you let him make his hand or he took advantage of your weakness representing the flush. But I would not call the river bet, even though there's a good chance his big overbet is a bluff.

#2, AQs, I would call here. Desparate short stacks could be moving in with a lot of hands here that you are only a slight dog to or dominate. I really don't mind a coin flip as in this spot you really need to start collecting some chips as you're getting short yourself.

#3, I would have made a bigger raise here, you want that big stack out and he's going to call your smaller raise with a lot of hands as it doesn't cost much of his stack to do so.
