short handed book
Hello
I am a small winner at low limits. I love SSH and am a bigger winner because of it. Have read it 3 times. I also have several other of the best books. I use and study with pokertracker. I am planning on picking up Sklanskys book on tournament play, since I have start playing a few single table tourneys. Here is what I find on tournaments: 1. I have come in second a few times, never first 2. The large majority of the time, I am in first or second place until the table gets down to 5 or so players. So my question is, what is the best book for short handed play. TIA, tom |

Re: short handed book
Its been asked before on the books and software forum (bottom of general gambling).
As far as I know there are none. The closest is a shorthanded chapter in HEPFAP (21st century edition) |

Re: short handed book
The archives in the HUSH forum are the state of the art. No book I've seen has near the amount of information that you'll get from giving them a thorough reading.
If you have your heart set on a book, Ciaffone's Mid-limit Hold Em book has a shorthanded section, although I haven't read it, the book got the Mason seal of approval, for the most part. scrub |

Thx. For some reason I never noticed that forum. I am also going to try UB's .25/.50 6 player tables for some practice. I usually play empire/party. Tom |
