Default Grand victoria in Rising Sun, IN will reopen a card room.

I heard a rumor about Grand Victoria reopening a card room and follwed it up with a telephone call. I was told the card room would be open, late next month or early October.

I have no idea what limits they will spread but will check it out, shortly after it opens.

Nope. If you have any blackjack questions, or professional level advice, the Other Gambling Forum is probably the proper place.

I had a free blackjack lesson at the gambling boat once. they gave me a little card to show me how to bet. I lost $10 before it dawned on me the casino had paid for printing the little cards and that was the end of my blackjack playing.

I would love to have one of those certificates.

Hmmm... what name should I give them? Peter Griffin? Tommy Hyland? Think Standford Wong would be too obvious?
Maybe Arnold Synder. No, EDWARD THORP!!!

We went there one time and found a face up double deck game. They let me pound them for 5 hours with very little heat and then comped us dinner. The penetration was good except for the relief dealer.

ps...how about lawrence revere or ken uston for your certificate?

I am afraid I will have to take some of the responsibility for the Grand Victoria no longer having any two deck games of any kind.

Of course, towards the end when they started giving 13 card penetration, it was more the principle than profitable.

I was in the Argossy (sp?) the day the opened the new boat. They had weak dealers and BJ tables without a "viewer" (I don't know the real name, the thing they use to look for BJ) and I foudn a table wehre I was able to sit on first base and see the hole acrd when the dealer checked for BJ was very profitable. If you are in that area you might see if they have fixed that (this was years ago, so I am sure they have).
