I probably fold the river unless a good read tells me otherwise. Would like to hear your thoughts on calling.

What could he have?

AK: very unlikely. Three are out and he didn't raise pf.
AQ: no. He would have bet or check raised the flop.
AJ: unsuited, probably not. Suited is a real possibility.
AT: same as above, but less likely.
KQ: possible but questionable that he would be in the pot at all with this, unless suited. But he couldn't have KQ suited becuase both the Kd and Qd are on the board.
JJ: doubtful. He would have opened with a raise or reraised pf.
99: unlikely. Doubtful 99, even with the gutshot would call the flop bet here.
88: possible he was slowplaying the set and was hoping you would bet again on the turn.

I vote for either AsJs or AsTs. You got 3.3:1 on the call. Were the odds better than that that he had something else? I'm not sure, but, yes, I would probably call and grit my teeth.
