A few hands
Tables were very loose with most passive players and a few aggro ones.

Re: A few hands
1) Trix, this is a preflop raise. You have too much equity not to. I'd bet the turn too
2) looks fine. 3) Raise preflop, in part because of the folders, but also because it's a pretty strong hand at a loose-passive table. |

Re: A few hands
Hey Trix,
Hands 1 and 2 are nice. Well played. In hand 3, if I'm gonna play KTs here, when it's folded to me I'm coming in for a raise even on a loose table. -Jaran |

Results and thoughts
Lost to Ac3x in the first and got called down by KdTd in the last.
Still think checking the turn in hand one might have been the better play, as anything but Ac and Qc will fold to a bet, but might call the river if it ends up getting checked through. Qc will probably bet if checked to both on turn and river, so I save a bet by check-calling when against Ac, but doesn´t loose anything against Qc. Ac is probably also more likely as people like Ax more than Qx. Thoughts ? |

Re: Results and thoughts
I think it is better to just bet out. At these limits I think anyone with a club is going to call your bet on the turn. If you dont bet, A or Q is going to most likely and still drive out people you want to stick around. I think you are ahead too much of the time here not to bet the turn.
On hand 3, you should raise preflop. My basic rule of thumb is that if I get folded to, any hand that I was going to play gets raised. Maybe thats a little too aggressive but it seems to be working well for now. Chris |
