Default Knowing Your Opponents

How much is knowing your opponents worth in bb per hour?

It is certainly worth something but just how much?

Has anyone studied this properly?

Limit or no-limit?

Tourney or ring?

Live or online?

What combinations of the above?

There is no way of putting it into BB per hour.
Caro tried to put a BB/hr value on his tells, and although the book is valuable, this aspect is laughable.

Knowing that it is profitable should be enough for anyone to put forth the effort. If your overall theoretical knowledge of poker is flawed, nothing else will matter much anyway.

If the game is no-limit, probably close to 90% of what you earn can come from knowing your opponents. If the game is limit, pot size seems to be more important when the game is loose.
