Default AJ vs. the stop and go.. turn and river play?

I'm never 100% sure how to handle the stop and go, especially on the turn. I had resigned myself to calling this down after he bet the turn, but then decided to raise the river because I thought there was a good chance I just pulled ahead of a flopped 2 pair.

Good, bad, or ugly?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

BB bets, MP1 calls, MP3 folds, Hero raises, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

I would still raise the turn. His stop and go more likely means he has Ax and he's put you on a hand like KK/KQ/JJ and you were raising the the flop for the free card. If he did have Q8 I'm thinking he plays it stronger. If you didn't chop this one I'd be a little suprised.

Either chop it up, or lose to A-8, cant see anyone playing just a pair of Q like this. But then again, people are dumb.
