Default 3-table SNGs - realistic ROI?

I played my first 30-person sit-and-go yesterday ($30+3 NL) and was amazed by the lax play for people willing to put $33 in.

My question is for anyone who frequents these sort of tournaments [i am posting it in general as it is "both" SNG and Multi] - what is a realistic return on income for 30-person tournaments? whilst 35% is considered good for 10-man tournaments, and ROI isn't frequently calculated in 500+ man tournaments, can we calculate it for 'in-betweenies'?

Any comments would be much appreciated, as it has had me ruminating all day.

Regards,
Pete Harris

If you finish in the money 25% of the time equally divided among the 5 paying spots, your ROI would be 36.36%

Cheers Kurn. the follow-up question - will a successful (35% ROI) SNG with solid MTT experience expect to money 25% of the time? I think the answer is yes, given my experience of a single SNG, but this is only my opinion and would like to hear from anyone who plays the 3-table events more than once.

Thanks again!
Pete H.
