I\'m Not Satisfied... (at least it\'s interesting, I think)
I posted those 15/30 hands this morning but when I looked at the hand history (I didn't have it when I posted), I realized one fo them was completely different thna I remembered. I appreciate the advice on the hand that didn't happen, but can anyone give me an opinion on this one? I'm still completely clueless as to what the right play is. Thanks!

Hey Josh-
I dont like the flop cap nor the turn fold. Granted not all of you 8's may be clean, but I think enough of them will be enough of the time to warrant a call. As for the flop, I think this is very read dependant. |

I like it. I'm not folding an overpair on that flop even if it's 2 back to me. When the BB CR the turn it's clear that you're beat, however.
When did you start 15/30? Also, don't you think you will get better responses in the mid-high stakes forum? |

Re: I\'m Not Satisfied... (at least it\'s interesting, I think)
I guess I should've started it the way I started the other post. My friend was taking a shot at 15/30 and we were arguing over the hand. He played it my way, but he wanted to call the flop and fold the turn.

folding the turn to a check-raise was stupid. I forgot to mentiont hat too.

Please Read Me Before Commenting
- this is a hand my friend played that we debated over. I don't play 15/30.
- folding the turn is terrible because we have 6 likely clean outs getting 15-1. I just want to know what the plan should be when being faced with a raise and a check/3-bet on the flop. |

I didn't realize that you picked up a gutshot on the turn, so, yeah, that's a bad fold.

Re: Please Read Me Before Commenting
I'm not following your thinking here. What hands are you putting him on?
When I read this, I can't escape the notion that BB follows a betting pattern for 89s, possibly diamonds, though his flop 3-bet seems ambitious. Button looks like a flopped set to me because he's called two cold on the flop (two pair on this flop looks like an unlikely preflop call), puts in a raise to charge the draws and then folds when he doesn't pair the board against a made straight or flush. How does this jibe with your analysis? If true, I don't see your 6 likely outs. You've got 3 8s to a split pot and no 9s will help. Are you putting him on 7c8c? Axs? A set? Just curious. |
