If you know your win rate and your Std Dev you can pretty easily figure out your confidence intervals for you win rate.

First figure your Std Error which is you StdDev/Sqrt(TimePlayed)

A 95% confidence interval would be your winrate +/- 2 StdErrors.

Since you are looking for the time need to get this under 1BB you can basically work backwards a bit to get your answer.

1 = 2*StdDev/Sqrt(TimePlayed) or TimePlayed = 4*(StdDev)^2

So basically it all depends on your Std Dev. If you have a Std Dev of say 15BB/100 Hands then you will need about 15^2*4*100=90,000 hands to get your winrate to within 95% confidence.

Make Sence?
