AQo in SB vs a blind steal.
Hi,
AQo vs the button is a hand I'll 3 bet/cap. I'll probably take it to the river unimproved unless he can convince me Ace high isn't any good. My plan when he caps is to check-raise any flop and only fold if he 3bets and I don't have a pair. Based on the way it played out, Ace high was probably good, right? That was my reading based on the flop action. This is the line I take with any hand I'd 3bet a button steal with. From 88-AA to KQs and up. Should I be 3betting with a wider range have hands from the blinds vs a 'blind steal'? Thanks, MarkV. Re: AQo in SB vs a blind steal.
If you think he has nothing the flop c/r --> turn bet no matter what card comes is a good move.
