I promise myself that after I win tonight, I will take a 2 week cruise and bring a few friends. Along with that, I will buy myself a Pontiac Solstice when it comes out in 2005.

I was having MAJOR connection issues - action would come to me with 3 seconds left on the clock - play would skip hands - chat would wave from either working to being broken. It was an absolute nightmare and it threw off my game to a point where I didn't care anymore.

So... I called Party and they told me other people were also experiencing the same connection issues on the tournaments. The tournaments weren't functioning for me BUT strangely enough, the ring games were working fine at the same time.

My guess is that the tournaments are on seperate servers run by Part Poker and the ring games are on high quality servers that are shared by empire and party, therefore high quality. I dunno.. Just a guess.

Hopefully, Party will re-imburse my buy-in for the 2 tourneys. I'm too scared to play another tourney for this specific fear.

This same thing used to happen to me all the time. Of course, party just blamed it on me. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and the problems have been gone so far.
