Default AA in Raised and Reraised Pot... Decision Time

As always, comments on flop and turn play are welcome. Villain is like 36/8 over 50 hands, so I really don't have any meaningful data on him. Haven't seen him get too out of line.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em (NL$100) (6 handed) link

Hero ($134.45)
UTG ($36.10)
MP ($32.85)
CO ($177.50)
Button ($180.10)
SB ($98.00)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $2.00, 1 folds, CO raises to $6.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $19.00, 1 folds, CO calls $14.00.

Flop: ($42.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $25.00, Hero calls $25.00.

Turn: ($92.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO pushes all in, Hero...

those stacks arent deep

raise more pre-flop, you're OOP

bet flop bet turn

if there's anything left on the river, stick that in too

This looks like an easy call

Some one check my math, but there are 12 combos of AK, and 3 combos of KK, so....

I agree with this.

I'm not sure if this is the best to maximize my value against Villain's hand range. I think if I check/call I can induce him to bet a lot of hands here that would fold if I bet, like TT-QQ. I'm not sure about this though, I'll have to think about it.

actually with the K on the board and the 2 aces in your hand, there are 3 combinations of KK and 6 combinations of AK.

Anyways, I really felt I was beat but called anyway. Villain had KK. I didn't suckout. I suppose this call is standard given Villain's range of hands and the price I'm getting from the pot, but it's frustrating when your instincts are screaming at you to fold but you ignore them.

I am interested in hearing more discussion about the check/call versus the leading out on this flop, because I'm not at all convinced that I played this correctly.

Preflop you HAVE to decide what you're doing if a king comes. If you decide preflop that you're backing this with your stack if a king comes then you played it 100% correctly. If you decide that you're NOT backing it with your stack you need to bet out and hope you get raised. At that point you can fold or call and check fold the turn. Folding to a flop raise is preferable though.

Please start thinking one or two streets ahead.
