A hand from my last session, help!
Hey, here's a game from my last .1/.25 session on PS. How wrong did I play this hand?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Guts ($13.75) BB (Villain 1) ($10.80) UTG ($10.20) UTG+1 ($11.25) MP1 (Villain 2) ($37.25) MP2 ($3.80) CO ($2.30) Button ($9.65) Preflop: Guts is SB with 8c, Jc. UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, MP1 (Villain 2) calls $0.25, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button calls $0.25, Guts completes, BB (Villain 1) checks. Flop: ($1.65) 5c, 7d, 7c (6 players) Guts checks, Villain 1 checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Villain 2 checks, Button checks. Turn: ($1.65) 6h (6 players) Guts bets $0.25, Villain 1 calls $0.25, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Villain 2 calls $0.25, Button folds. River: ($2.65) 4c (4 players) Guts bets $0.75, Villain 1 raises to $1.5, UTG+1 folds, Villain 2 raises to $5, Guts folds, Villain 1 calls $3.50. Final Pot: $13.40 I had no real experiences with either of the 2 villains, so didn't know what they'd do here... I'll post results in a bit. Cheers, guts |

Re: A hand from my last session, help!
Personally, I'd bet more on the turn. Why did you fold on the river? Did you put Villain 2 on a full house? I'd call the river raises... I would think that at this level your hand may be good the majority of the time.
The way everyone plays the turn indicates that no one may have a 7. Don't know why a 7 would play for $0.25 overcalls when the pot is already $1.65. |
