so i accidently hit the auto-post button UTG and its my first hand at the table, i get A9o, am i raising or checking?

Well, you can't fold at this point, and I think the value in raising to shut out better A-high hands is easily worth the value of the extra small bet.

So I raise.

The real answer, of course, is: don't post UTG.
