Did I have correct odds to chase here? She's a good player, so I figured she had Queens up on 4th, but all my cards were live and it was off to the races.

you had a queen in your hand--2 dead queens there.
Why did you call the river if you thought the other person had you beat? (I know I know...what if they're bluffing yadda yadda... but if you're almost 100% sure about what they have...)

AA with two live cards is about a 46-54 dog to the made two pair on fourth. (Yeah, there's a reason I know that off the top of my head... )
The queen in your hand made you a 42.6-57.3 dog. (this was including the two flush)

You definately have odds to call down to the river as long as you figure villan doesn't have trips or he makes some 5 card hand.

Folding the river might be the right play depending on the opponent, but I call here pretty much everytime unless i'm up against a rock which is hard to find in a 3 handed game.

I definitely put in another raise either on 4th...or check raise 5th.

...well...most of the time I do. I require more convincing. And I don't mind being wrong because I won't be too far behind. If I get 3-bet after I cr 5th (or capped on if I 3-bet 4th) I know I'm behind. If I'm a 40/60 dog (on 5th) I lose 4 bucks in EV but I won't lose a river bet if I don't improve so that raise is actually a +16 EV raise. If the opponent caps 4th I lose $2 in EV but again...I don't pay off the river if I lose.

You have a good hand. You can't be far behind...bet like a maniac....its fun.

Desperately awaiting the reason.

I don't really like this. You pretty much have to be behind any sane person in this spot, either 2 pair or better. Your drawing and at a disadvantage keep the pot small until you hit.

I have no idea what your talking about with that +16EV bet, pretty sure one bet can't be +16 EV. I'm pretty sure it is a -EV play, maybe a fraction + if you have some fold equity which I don't think you do since the pot is already big.

This is mandatory. What were you so scared of? You have aces playing 3-way and back down when someone catches ugly on 4th and pops you? Gotta get more money in there, man.

Ahh jeeez, I don't know. Sometimes I hit the call button even though I know it's -EV and I'm 90% sure I'm going to lose. Maybe I'm a fish.

I was scared of queens up. I was very sure this player wouldn't have raised 4th with anything less.

He loses $4 on 5th street when he gets 3-bet by two pairs (60/40 dog, so he loses 10% of each bet that goes in; sine two extra bets go in with this line that’s $4). But he saves $20 on the river, for a total of $16. Make sense now?
It’s not that simple of course but it’s a good plan.
