Own SSH and Hilger\'s Internet Texas Hold\'em
I read SSH. Should I be reading Hilger's book now, or should I reread SSH?
I just started Internet Texas Hold'em and he's using examples for much higher limits than I currently play. Maybe I ought to reread SSH first? Does it really friggin' matter? |

Re: Own SSH and Hilger\'s Internet Texas Hold\'em
Read SSH again and again and again..... I own two copies of SSH now, one for my office (VERY dog-eared) and one for my home. ITH was good, but no way near as good as SSH.

No reason to read ITH if you grasped SSH. ITH is a beginners book. SSH teaches you to maximize your profits.

Re: Own SSH and Hilger\'s Internet Texas Hold\'em
Hiya's
Suggestion : Go over to ITH Forum and ask the same question. 'nother suggestion : Ask yourself the question as to why you bought ITH in the first place. You a beginner/intermediate player or an advanced player ? I'm reading ITH first and seein how his principles play on the Internet Tables. Reading is fine as long as it proves itself correct. So far so good. Try using the concepts in SSH on the tables. Not all at once though, I tried it and forgot what I was trying yo prove. Regards Billy Zee |

Re: Own SSH and Hilger\'s Internet Texas Hold\'em
They are 2 different sorts of books. You should read them both. Each book covers basically the same material, except that SSH focuses on one type of game, while ITH is more broad in scope (actaully, there is more material covered in ITH, but SSH is more in depth in some of the areas covered.) There are a lot more hand examples in ITH, which is great for study.
