Simple preflop scenario, ajs raised small preflop
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter
UTG ($32.20) Hero ($138.08) CO ($46.60) Button ($34.45) SB ($51.25) BB ($35.45) Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $5.5</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero ??? Calls or folds. Can I please get a detailed analysis here, do I have implied odds? Or am I dominated too often. Villain is 61/25 2.71 aggro, 18/33 went/won showdown ratio after 64 hands. I havent really noticed much of him in those 64 hands. |

Re: Simple preflop scenario, ajs raised small preflop
I'd call the small raise here to see if I can flop something. Just don't get too excited to flop top pair

I fold.
you don't flop a "stack the villain hand" often enough to make this call profitable. if villain had a stack near your stack size, I would probably call. |
