Default I spin myself in circles.

400 6max nl on party. Don't have any specific reads on the players in the hand.

I have 650. poster has 400, 1st limper doesn't matter, button has 1600.

I limp A7d utg, poster checks, guy limps, button limps, blinds come along.

Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I bet 25, poster raises to 60, limper folds, button calls, I make it 125, poster folds, button calls.

Turn 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I check, button bets 300, I fold.

/edit yes the orriginal flop i mistakenly posted it to contain all clubs...that's not the case.

Edited--Woooah I looked at that flop completely wrong. My fault.

But my original comments pretty much stand.

Don't limp with A7d UTG, it doesn't make any sense and is not smart.

Your small reraise on the flop and check on the turn looks very weak (and a lot like a flush draw).

Just call the flop.

As you played it, turn is fine. He's showing a ton of strength.

I would probably just call flop raise and bet turn or c/r. That way you show a little more strength yourself and he's less likely to get crazy with his big ace. as it is, looks a ton like a set or at least top two.

dont limp that pf unless table is passive pre and you get to see flop many times.

make it 200 to go on the reraise..

bet 2/3 or pot on turn and call a push

if the 6 was club, check-fold may be okay but check folding on lone 6 is sooo weak

[/ QUOTE ] Although I'd raise preflop here, limping is fine.

Open-limping preflop UTG is fine? hehe, please explain.

I'm gonna learn something here...

Edit: Oh, er... pot control?

So he's OOP and check/calls a 1/2 PSB which he isn't getting odds for and then leads when a third card of his suit comes. I have to believe that $400 6max players can read hands and stuff.

Actually, for some reason I thought BK's hand was A7 offsuit. Since it was actually suited, I agree with you completely -- I'd open for a raise, too, but I can see how limping in is not -EV.

I feel like the play is to raise or fold with a hand like that out of position. Raising helps for shania. I don't see why calling would be optimal.
