Default The River That Sucked

In the few seconds I had to make the decision, arguments for bet/calling, bet/folding, check/calling, and check/folding all ran through my mind. Opponent to this point has been a typical 5/10 player, a bit on the calling station side.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Flop: (6 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(6 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, MP3 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds, MP1 calls, MP3 folds.

check/call...might get a bluff from busted straight/ flush draw

i'm thinking it's doubtful he had an ace, since he didn't raise the turn. Might have a queen...oh well

I think this decision hinges on whether this villain whos a bit on the calling station side will bet without an Ace or a Queen.

And if we don't know if he will or won't, what's the line which has the most +EV?

I'd probably go with check/call then so I kind find out if he'll bet with a busted draw or not. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
