Wow. This better f***in' fail. I hate our current government's infatuation with modifying the constitution and it's amendments.

Was this submitted by some crackpot?

The fact that this was submitted 5 months ago and isn't really a topic of public debate would lead me to believe this isn't a serious proposal.

I don't know what that date means, but I think the proposal of this amendment was just released - as it's on the front page of infowars.com. Link.

I've sent the link to a lawyer friend of mine for his thoughts.

In the meantime... I can't imagine why this would be filed. I just quickly checked a couple of the websites of the representatives who are attached to the proposal... none that I checked had this mentioned in their section on issues. I searched Yahoo news and found no hits for this.

You can be certain if this was a serious proposal, it would be being debated on all the news channels, you would see essays pro and against, etc.

If GWB ran a third time, I think I might actually have to vote for Hillary (shudders).

The odd thing about this... this proposal is by a bunch of Republicans.

Wasn't there a time not to long ago when republicans used to pretend to love the Constitution and protect it? Now they want to change it at the drop of a hat.

The Republican party is so different then they were just a 15 years ago or so. Like mirror images.
