Default nervous about graduating

I'm about to make 300 BB on the .25/.50 at UB and my plan is to move up to .50/1 once I get there. I've been keeping a spreadsheet for the last 2500 hands just keeping track of the bottom line. Not counting converted bonuses I'm at 6.2 BB/100. Before starting to keep track I probably played about 10K to 15K hands since learning the game 6 months ago. My question is, how big of a hit can I expect to take when I move up? Is it likely that I will be profitable when I just start?

I saw very little difference between the .25/.5 and .5/1 games. Depending on how loose your .25/.5 games at UB are, you may have to tighten up slightly, but I didn't and I was profitable right from the get go.

I'm having a much harder time at 1/2. I suffered a mini downswing out of the gate and am not quite back to break even (-3 bets - hehe) after 2500 hands.

Could've been random luck, but I had a hard time when moving from .1/.2 to .25/.5 too. .25/.5 to .5/1 was cake though.
