Hand 1: Dunno about the call on the river, any K has you beat.

Hand 2: Turn bet is questionable.

Hand 3: If your read is right, its pretty tough to put him on a hand. I would probably call down to see what he has for help in future hands, but remember not to do this often.

I would just post one hand at a time. But since you didnt:

hand one -- This is like the example I tried to get people to talk about (ex 7 p 271 in SSHE). You have multiple weak draws in a medium-large size pot. Difference -- you have poor position. I think you should bet this flop and call a raise.

Bet the turn! And the river.

hand two -- bet the river. I'm not good at folding a raise here, but you probably should.

Why did you checkraise this flop? It makes no sense. Just bet!

hand three -- I play it the same. I think he has the T but he might not.

How does a 6-max game get to be 9-handed?

If it's really a 9-handed pot, then I'd fold this preflop to a raise from a TAG. I'm a favorite against only AJ/AT/KQ, in varying states of underdogness against other raising hands, out of position, and villain doesn't sound like someone easily outplayed postflop.

And if he doesn't have a king?

Why? Hero likely has the best hand.

It's the flop checkraise is that is questionable.

Hand 1: Bet the flop. Backdoor nut flush, 1 good overcard, and high end of the OESD. I too would bet the river and fold to a raise. I think this is a pretty easy fold here.

Hand 2: Check-raise confused me I'm not sure why you did this or what your plan of action was if a different player bet and / or there were callers. Betting out would've helped more for seeing where you are at. I also think you should be bet-folding on the river.

Hand 3: Given the read I'd play it the same. Verse an unknown I would lean towards folding to the turn raise.

Greg J: Thanks.

Hand 1: I just think that someone could easilty have a K but I am probably wrong.

Hand 2: He has more outs than I thought he did, I forgot about the flush draw as well.

Sorry for the misguidence.

the reason i check raise here is because if BB bets and I get callers I plan on folding. If another player bets I fold aswell. Because BB bet and others folded I raised because of my read on BB.

as it turned out he had J6 with no spade
