another BB bubble question
trying to get the hang of sng bubbles. villain had been reasonable - knew where the raise button was, but not a maniac.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed) converter Button (t1465) SB (t1970) Hero (t1745) UTG (t2820) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, SB raises to t1970 (All-In), Hero?? |

Re: another BB bubble question
Hmm, I dislike situations like these. If you had AT+, 77+ I'd say this is an instant call but a8 is such a marginal hand. I would estimate you are ahead, but I just don't know what percentage of the time you have villain crushed.
If the blinds were at 200/400 I'd say this was definitely call but at 150/300 I'd probably close my eyes and call versus an opponent I knew was willing to push any two. |

Re: another BB bubble question
Meh, I think you're barely a favorite here. You're not low enough to take these yet IMO.

Re: another BB bubble question
Against all but the craziest maniacs, this is an insta-fold for me here. You've still got plenty of FE, no need to call off all your chips with A8o.
