I´ll check-call the river as the only hand I want to bet against is 66 and I think he can hold 99-TT or maybe a slowplay aswell here, as he might have flatcalled flop, turn to keep others in.
Checking might also induce a bluff and will cost the least when you are beat.

Trix makes some good points. Although, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone call a bet with 6x suited either.
So betting or not betting is, not clear cut imo. Sure, a 7 could've slowplayed it to keep the BB in, but I doubt it given the board.
