Default Raising light on a CO post with ATC and we get 3-bet by the BB

In situations such as this, is it even worth seeing the flop? We've essentially put only 1SB in the pot, and although we're getting 5:1 most of the time our cards are going to be utter junk. Is it really worth it to even see the flop?

Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

6 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero bends over

Situations like this happen infrequently, especially because I rarely post in CO, and even the most unobservant opponents know you're raising light on a post.

Obviously the only reason to see the flop would be for your "table image". I fold.

I don't understand why you would try this with T2o.

Take your pick, I just picked some random sub-stealing hand that you'd CO post steal with.

Ok, just so we agree on that. What you do with it is up to you I guess. <shrug>

HEPFAP goes over it a bit I think, although it's been months since I read it. Pretty much the only reason is you get a big discount on the steal attempt.

Yeah I think I'm raising any two from there. Would only think twice if I had stats on players left to act and they seem like competent TAGs.

I think it's been discussed a lot already that this is a pretty easy steal raise, but I think the calling of the 3-bet is interesting because I've never really thought about it before, I pretty much always auto-called. Wouldn't it be bad for your image if you raised and folded to a 3-bet?

Plus it's rad for your image when you do it with 43o and win the pot and the guy presses show cards and he has AK on the end like "this is what you beat."

I call.

I'll be folding most flops, though.
