How do you continue this hand?
I thought i could gain more from checking behind villain here on this very non textured flop.

[/ QUOTE ] A lot of times opponents will see your preflop bet+flop check as a sign of weakness and bet out on the turn, especially if they have Ax. The danger is that he may have A5, A7 or A8. However, I don't see anyone at the 20s usually pushing so hard with anything as good as 2 pair. He could also have two diamonds. I'd probably push, but this may be a huge mistake. Any strong reads on the villian? >>>ZIP |

Re: How do you continue this hand?
Even on a pretty safe flop, I'm still betting TPGK here. It's simply not a good enough hand to slowplay here, especially considering SB did call a raise OOP. If you're checkraised on the flop, you can put him on a hand fairly easily. Him betting into you on the turn gives you no information at all.

Re: How do you continue this hand?
Ditto.
He put in a lot of chips preflop. I 1/2 pot it and decide if I think he has AQ or AK on the flop. |
