Default I invoke the \"limping is fine\" clause.

I'm making this post so I can just link to it next time someone in a SS thread quibbles with an EP limp or open-limp of a decent hand.

Decent hands include but are not limited to:

Axs.
Pocket pairs through -9-9.
JTs.
K9s.
And so on and so forth.

Most SS posters are cognizant enough to know when the table texture is appropriate to limp these hands. If you do not know, or you wish to debate the merits of such limps, please go to the micro forum, where such arguments rage with a fiery intensity.

Preflop raises, folds, cold calls and over-limps may, once in a blue moon, provide fruitful discussion. Limps of hands that we all know are decent, on the other hand, do not. So stuff it.
