PP25NL, full ring, 10 players.
I just sat down at this table like an orbit ago. Have raised PF maybe once, I think I might have bluffed a turn once with 6 high when it was checked to me twice, only to be thwarted by K high. So folded to me in MP, I raise to $1 with JJ. I have $25. folded to BB with $14 raises to $4. Is this an autofold, or do you guys think that people do this often enough with AK/AQ for me to push a flop if checked to? |

Player and stack dependent for me. Less than $10 and I may put him all in preflop--read or no read. Short stacks in 6-max 25NL tend to be pretty bad. More than $10 and no read, I probably fold preflop.
I do like the option you suggest--call and push any low flop. But without a read, I probably fold to BB's raise. |

Hey, Xorbie.
Except for maniacs, I don't see anyone reraising at $25NL without Qs, Ks or Aces UNLESS they were shortstacked and just pushed. Oddly enough, at $50 tables, I started seeing AK reraises. But never at $25NL. |

Oh I've seen as low as AT re-raise, but it's usually when I'm in LP.

I see ridiculous reraises all the time, albeit they are mostly from manicas, but I'd wager about 50% of 25 nl players are maniacs in my opinion.
I think I'd push preflop or, if you dont want to flip coins for 14 dollars, maybe call the flop and see what he does. More than one over card with a raise and Im done. But paintless board or a single over card and I'd push the flop. |
