If possible, pick him up and put him on a reserve roster.

He's a risky guy to have on your team.

Just like shooting yourself in the head is a risky thing to do.

Well, what's the upside for Jaret Wright? That he siphons a win off of the yankee offense?

He ran into arm troubles at a young age and has had one leo-mazzone-induced fluke season, got a huge contract, and bombed like everyone except George Steinbrenner thought he would. He's got a career 5.19 ERA, a career K/BB of 1.54, and a 1.56 WHIP. The only thing he does slightly well is strike out guys, but he'll bomb your ERA and WHIP more than that'll help.

it depends. how desperate are you for pitching?

i traded him in the offseason for the exact reasons jack mentioned and i have no intention of picking him back up now.

well my pitching staff includes chris carpenter, matt clements, colon, kazmir, brett myers, pettite, prior, suppan, bruce chen, el duke, loaira, aaron small kerry wood and oliver perez... I only could start 9 pitchers. Oh i did pick up jaret wright... I decided to dump all my closers.

No, dont start him, especially with the pitching staff you have right now. How many teams are in this league?

On a side note, I traded Jaret Wright for Dontrelle Willis before the season started. My friend who did it is still hearing an earful from it.
