Default QQ overpair v. Aggression from good player

Bet365 1/2 limit. Villain is 16/8/2.4. Haven't noticed anything significant about him other than he appears very solid and aggressive.

Hero, in MP2, dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Pre-flop: 4 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, Villain (in CO) 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero caps, Villain calls.

Flop (2 players) (Pot: 9.5 SB): 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, Villain raises, Hero ???

I'm a beginner, take this post for whatever you see fit.

If you put the villain on AA-JJ, any AK, any AQ, or KQ suited, PokerStove says you're about 52%. I don't think you can fold this. Raising isn't for value and you obviously aren't going to chase him.

I think you have to grit your teeth and call to the river.

*grunch*

I'm calling down.
The J high board just took away one of the 3 betting hands that you beat. I'd like to see a showdown as cheaply as possible.

Any overcard that doesn't have tits sucks ass and probably should involve check\fold.
Leading a turn blank would be tempting. But I think getting raised would lick balls.
3 betting the flop is also tempting but I don't think a cap would tell us anything and may tie us to the pot.

I forgot to put the board cards in to PokerStove...D'oh! Site tells me it's too late to edit the post.

Surprisingly, the difference is not great. With the board cards, it looks like you're 53% instead of 52% as I said before.

Thanks for the responses.

I normally would think a call down is right here (that's what I did, in fact). But, I was wondering whether this conclusion should change due to the possibility that Villain may believe I'm trying to steal here???
