Re: 65s - Preflop and River
Preflop/flop/turn are money. I really don't see how MP2 can have a flush. His play surely isn't consistant with a big flush. He could have a small flush but he would probably go for a river check/raise. I raise the river and expect to get shown a set/2-pair by MP2.

Re: 65s - Preflop and River
Definatly call preflop - it's not a huge money maker but the play is definatly +EV with solid postflop play.
Raise the river, you are going to have the best hand the vast majority of the time. I really like how you played this hand. |

Re: 65s - Preflop and River
Yes I call this hand, and the more limpers the better, but 4 is plenty pre-flop.
I'm not at the point of pumping these as strong as you did and would probably have just called on the flop, but you have at least two trapped in the hand having to add a third bet. Another read of MP2 on the turn is he doesn't have the "NUT Flush". As far as river, call is fine if you are really worried about what MP2 has but don't want to pay extra. Otherwise, if your read was good that MP2 doesn't have the flush then why not raise? If SB overcalls the unraised bet it's one more BB in the pot, if SB folds to a raise and MP2 calls it's one more BB and only one opponent, if SB and MP2 both call then you've added 2 additional bets to the pot. |
