party 2/4 nl - set over set - get away?

6 max - not trying to post a bad beat thingy, just wanna know if this is standard, if anyone gets away, and if anyone would take a different line. its set over set, but what could i actually beat? all comments appreciated. hope this hand converter works.

I think you gotta raise the flop.

Well, maybe raise flop but if you get called thats the end of the hand for you. Perhaps a min raise on the turn? You dont need to raise properly because SB isnt sticking around with anything but a monster because he'll be concerned about BB pushing behind him. But I'm probably being results orientated here, as waco said dont post results straight away.

I probably raise preflop, and I've never gotten away from set-over-set.

4 way I don't think I could get away from this. I like the way you played it though, waiting till turn to raise. Tough beats.

I should add that without a very good read, I don't fold a set fearing a higher set in Party 2/4.

with normal 200bb stacks

if youre deeper you can start considering it

but the thing with folding sets is even if youre beat, rare, often you wont be losing to a higher set, itll be a straight or flush youre up against, and youll want to try to fill up if the price is right
