Theoretical blind defence question
A player who steals blinds x% of the time opens on the button. Small blind folds. You are in the big blind. What % of your hands are you at least calling with?
I figure if you were on the button and the CO opened, you should 3bet about (1/2)x% of your hands. Same with the SB vs the Button. I figure you should be more likely to call in the BB since you're getting 3.5:1 odds. Odds that will probably make it right to call with more than x% of your hands. I've got a fairly good grasp on the concepts involved, but I probably fold my BB to steal too often. Regardless, I'm hoping to approach this problem from a purely theoretical angle. |
