Winners at the Bellagio from the WPT season 2 are Martin Deknijff, Ron Rose, and Paul Phillips.

My guess would be that this braclet belongs to Mr. Phillips. I highly doubt he's broke. He play high stakes cash games (as described in the ad). He strikes me as the type of guy that would never wear a gaudy braclet sach as that. Plus, he's a computer geek so the e-bay thing makes sense to me too. However, I believe he lives not in Chicago.

You are probably right, it is his friend selling it for him, that is where Chicago probably comes into it.

If they'd thrown down such sweet bling bling when I won I'd never take it off. Sadly all they gave me was an ugly plaque, which I forgot to take home; they then mailed it to me, but it broke to pieces in the mail.

If anyone thinks I can sell the bucket of glass shards on ebay let me know.

Glad to see im not the only one who thinks these bracelets are totally lame. I guess since the stereotype of poker players is like gaudy jewlry and all, it makes sense Also i was watching the 2002 WSOP on ESPN classic and they gave varkoni(sp) a red jacket and made a big deal about it, that was incredibly lame and im glad to see it looks like they have done away with that (never saw moneymaker or raymer get one)

Yeah a huge yellow gold bracelet full of diamonds...isnt at all gaudy.

well, the only "jewelry" I wear is a watch, but to be honest with you, that bracelet is pretty damn sick.
