Default Stars 10+1 rebuy final table hand

A hand from the final table of the stars rebuy tournament 5 handed. Blinds are 40000/80000 with a 4000 chip ante.

UTG: (t914212)
CO: (t1508613) (Hero)
Button: (t4553061)
SB: (t1324710) (Villain)
BB: (813904)

Hero in CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds
Hero raises 3x bb or t240000
Button folds
SB raises 240000 to t480000
BB folds
Action to hero

I have seen the sb play 3 hands, the sb has moved all in with AQ os, made an initial raise with A10os, and been all in with JJ preflop. Otherwise I have seen none of his hands and he doesn't play exceedingly aggressive as far as I can ascertain. What's your line here? Are you pushing five handed? calling taking a flop? Call and stop and go if the flop is low? Suggestions to the hand are appreciated.

If you call, you'll have about one third of your stack in the middle, and you definitely want to see all five cards with this hand.

I don't know. Others may disagree, but I'll take this hand to the felt in this situation. I'm pushing over the top of villain here ... make him make the decision for his whole tournament.

FWIW, I this this is push or fold. With deeper stacks, you could maybe call. But here, I think calling is the worst of the three options, and there's no way I'm folding this here.

So, push.

This could be a leak in my game, though - I wonder how others would play it.

I think you need to push here. You dominate two of the three hands villain has showed and are a coinflip againsted the third. Take into consideration FE also. I would push and hope for the best. How did you end up finishing?

This is the easiest push in the universe. Actually I think this is nothing but (a variant of) a bad beat post
"Look at me. I got a tremendous starting hand five handed and ran into a even more tremendous starting hand. Poor me"
