Default Inter Poker raked hands FYI

Just wanted to let anyone else know about how InterPoker counts raked hands if you didn't already (like I didn't):

[Client:] ...
[dora:] how can i help you?
[Client:] Hi Dora, I'd like to know how I can keep track of the number of hands I have until my bonus is cleared
[Client:] I don't see anywhere where it tracks the # of raked hands I've accumulated
[dora:] you simply need to keep the record of hands you have played by day, and write them down, because your version of software is not big enough to accumulate the total number. you can always ask us. and we will give you the number.
[Client:] I see. Can you look it up for me?
[dora:] certainly

[Client:] does the rake need to be at least 50 cents?
[Client:] for it to count?
[dora:] the pot must be at least $5 for us to get the rake, if you contributed to that pot, then you get r.h.
[Client:] So you have to contribute to a raked pot then, not just be dealt into the hand
[dora:] assuming you were dealt, and bet of course
[Client:] I see. Has that changed recently or have you always needed to contribute to the pot for it to count?
[dora:] it's the rule of our poker room
[Client:] right, but it's always been that way?
[dora:] yes
[Client:] got it. thanks Dora, that's all I need for now
[dora:] bye-bye

Except, that as always, they're wrong about their own policy.

You don't have to contribute to the pot. It just has to be raked to count.

I don't know about that, Fluff. I had to play almost 750 hands to get the bonus last month and this month. That is a hell of a lot more raked hands than 450. I think they are right about having to contribute to the pot.

Yeah, that's wrong... Any hand you get dealt cards and is over $5.00 counts. Good customer service rep you got there.

They are wrong, I keep track of this with PokerTracker and you do not have to contribute to the pot.

Default Update

The rep had told me that I had 107 raked hands for the month. I cleared my bonus after playing another hour or so. I did not in fact play 343 raked hands in an hour by any estimation, so therefore dear Dora was incorrect.

Nevermind! Go about your business, nothing to see here.

Use Cryto Raked Hands Counter http://www.kcornell.com/CHRC.zip (link stolen from the kcornell at bonuswhores)

I use that to keep track of raked hands played. Just open the log viewer at Interpoker while running this program and it will tell you how many hands you have played (just keep track of how many sessions you have played so you dont include last months playing).

This month I stopped at 452 hands and cashed out. Beats having to talk to support all the time or leaving the table to check in cashier.

Just yesterday I was reviewing the fine print for the Crypto skins and found that Intercasino and PokerPlex only say 5 raked hands per bonus dollar (nothing about wagering). William Hill will give you $5/hr for up to 5 hours and Caribbean Sun will give you $40 for participating in 250 raked hands. Their site defines participating as actually placing a wager in a raked hand.
